Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician II 7B-ED to join our team. As a Medical Technician II 7B-ED, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of duties in providing direct patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with physicians' orders.
- Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support, including patient registration, data/order entry, transcription of orders, collation of medical records, and other clerical duties as assigned.
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
- Over one up to including three years of related work experience is required.
- Must be able to successfully complete the Medical Terminology Exam.
- CPR certification required.
- Nursing Assistant, EMT, or Paramedics certifications preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
