We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Des Moines, Iowa.
As a key member of our restaurant's leadership team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in food quality, consistency, and presentation.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant concept with annual sales exceeding $3 million.
You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene, while leading a team of culinary professionals to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Develop and implement menus that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, labor management, and cost control
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant concept
- Proven track record of delivering excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of food safety and sanitation
- Proficiency with financials, including P&Ls, inventory management, and labor costing
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
