Job Summary

HAC Retail is seeking a highly skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will provide top-notch customer service and support to our pharmacy teams in various locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Float to assigned stores to help cover pharmacy department needs
  • Travel to stores outside the OKC Metro as required
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department
  • Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accurate prescriptions
  • Report dispensing incidents in a timely manner
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees
  • Manage pharmacy staff with a friendly, positive approach
  • Work as a team member with store management
  • Maintain professional relationships with doctors and health service professionals
  • Manage and balance pharmacy inventory
  • Oversee transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders
  • Check pharmacy inventory for outdates and process returns
  • Maintain prescription files and manual records
  • Work with pharmacy manager to meet budgetary sales guidelines
  • Actively participate in company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
  • Comply with state and federal drug laws and HAC policies
  • Ensure in-store pharmacy technology is used to its fullest potential
  • Ensure a clean and professional environment
  • Follow loss prevention policies and report deviations

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Certified Immunizer
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree accredited by ACPE
  • Continuing Education as required by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
  • Oklahoma Preceptor License (required when eligible for license)
  • 1 year of Pharmacist experience (preferred)

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Constantly operates a computer and printer
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Lifting of items up to 50 lbs
