We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for assisting with the performance of imaging studies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist or Director of Imaging Services.
  • Perform studies in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality results and excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Meet the requirements for certification and licensure, as applicable.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a Cath Lab or related field.
  • BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certifications required.
  • IR experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

Days: 6a - 2:30p

Call required: 10-15 days a month, including weekends
