Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at Renown Health. As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will provide clinical services to children and adolescents with personal or interpersonal behavioral health and/or addiction problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills, including administration, scoring, and interpreting psychological testing and providing psychotherapy services when appropriate.
  • Deliver problem-focused, recovery-oriented services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Meet regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Function within the team using high-level clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage a case load, including planning, setting priorities, and budgeting time to ensure smooth processes and completion of work in a timely manner.
  • Document all significant patient contact in accordance with regulatory guidelines/standards.
  • Coordinate care between professionals as needed.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to initiate contact with internal and external resources on behalf of the client.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), or Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Psychology, required.
  • Two years minimum experience in a clinical setting required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Psychologist license with the State of Nevada.
  • Current and valid BLS issued by The American Heart Association required.
