Job Overview

Stability Direct is in search of a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team.

Position Summary: Under the guidance of certified radiologists and adhering to established protocols, Radiologic Technologists will conduct procedures that facilitate accurate interpretation of diagnostic images.

They will support radiologists during procedures and oversee the training of student Radiologic Technologists. Maintaining excellent patient relations is essential.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Graduation from an accredited Allied Health Professional program is preferred.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with OR, C-arms, and O-arms is advantageous (training available). The role involves work in both OR and standard diagnostic settings.
  • Licensure/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold certification in Radiography from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA). A current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card is also required.
Skills and Knowledge:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to perform and instruct radiologic exams to yield satisfactory diagnostic images.

Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards is necessary. The role requires safe operation of radiologic equipment and proficiency in standard office equipment.

This position demands a professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding work-related information.

Work Environment: The role involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients. Candidates should be prepared for exposure to various healthcare-related conditions, including radiation and infectious materials. Work may occur under stressful conditions and irregular hours may be required.
