Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in all areas of the Heart and Vascular Center, working closely with licensed physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain angiography equipment, adhering to established radiation safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assess patients prior to procedures, collecting relevant data and providing education on the procedure and its associated risks.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring the highest standards of sterile technique are maintained.
  • Operate imaging equipment, demonstrating expertise in visualization and localization of anatomy during angiography procedures.
  • Manage and assist physicians with specialized equipment used for diagnostic or interventional purposes.
  • Facilitate the delivery of completed exams for physician interpretation, utilizing current imaging technology.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a School of Radiological Technology.
  • Membership in the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Board of Examiners.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist.
  • Preferred 1 year experience as a Radiological Technologist.
  • Ability to work independently, performing standard and complex procedures with minimal direction.
  • Working knowledge of skills obtained in an approved School of Radiological Technology.
  • Working knowledge of computer skills.
