Plasma Donor Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Freedom Plasma. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our donors while providing exceptional customer service.

• Greet and register new plasma donors into our donor management system
• Conduct screening procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and arm checks
• Perform finger sticks to test donors for hematocrit and total protein levels
• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and review of test results
• Provide counseling to donors regarding unacceptable test results and initiate investigations as necessary
• Evaluate and respond to donor adverse events during the donation process
• Follow standard operating procedures for medical emergencies and communicate with the Center Medical Director as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of work experience preferred
• Active licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse in the state where performing duties
• CPR certification required

Our plasma center operates in a typical work environment with moderate noise levels. You may be exposed to freezing temperatures for short periods and occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
