Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality food products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditure for the account
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create menus that meet the needs of our clients
  • Oversee the production and execution of catering events
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary teams
Requirements:
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Catering experience and knowledge of food and catering trends are highly desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
