About the Role

Moultrie Mobile is seeking a skilled Magento Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external systems, and collaborating with our marketing department to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide application support to team members, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Develop and implement PHP backend code to integrate with internal and 3rd-party systems.
  • Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frontend code for storefront pages, delivering a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.
  • Design and execute MySQL compatible queries to import and export data from other systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Maintain the security of the e-commerce platform, protecting customer data and preventing fraudulent activity.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing clear updates on task requirements and finished features.
  • Coordinate and manage changes requests from the marketing department using Kanban-style project management.
  • Submit code using Git version control, ensuring version history and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field of study, or equivalent software development experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience with proficiency in:
    • Developing Adobe Commerce/Magento websites.
    • Object-oriented programming using PHP.
    • Writing web front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Using Git version control or other equivalent tools.
  • Ability to work business hours in the North American Central time zone.
