We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology.
Job DescriptionAs a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and PET/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) procedures with minimal supervision.
You will screen patients before the procedure, explaining the process and positioning them correctly. You will also adjust scan parameters as needed and administer radio pharmaceuticals according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and state regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine and advanced PET/CT procedures with minimal supervision
- Screens patients before the procedure for any precautions or contraindications
- Explains and prepares patients for PET/CT procedures, including positioning and support
- Adjusts scan parameters correctly and administers radio pharmaceuticals
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
