Job Overview

BGIS ITS is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing filters, coils, and other components.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including refrigeration and ice machines.
  • Install new HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, as well as refrigeration and ice machines.
  • Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems to determine required repairs and recommend preventative maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime.
  • Inspect and perform equipment repair and replacements, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements.
  • Subject to drug, background, and driver's license checks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with industry software preferable but not required.
