We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Physiatrist to join our team as a physiatry consultant in North Central Virginia.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a flexible, non-traditional, and progressive setting with a team of like-minded professionals. As a physiatry consultant, you will work collaboratively with medical directors, attending physicians, and therapy teams to improve functional outcomes for patients receiving short-term rehab services.
Responsibilities- Provide acute-level pain management and rehab consultation services to well-managed, subacute skilled nursing facilities.
- Work closely with medical directors, attending physicians, and therapy teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct regular patient encounters and provide ongoing support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Administrative and billing/coding support services to allow physicians to focus on patient care.
- 24/7 physician-to-physician education, guidance, and support.
- A focus on CMS compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and preferences.
- No call or weekend coverage required.
