Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.
- Patient Education: Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, concurrently performing a variety of tasks and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Associate's degree in Nursing and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in critical care nursing.
- Skills: Familiarity with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Grandview Medical Center is a 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility, accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). We offer a wide range of medical and surgical programs and services, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Care. Our medical staff consists of over 600 physicians representing 30 specialties and subspecialties.
