Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Teppan Chef to join our team at Benihana. As a Teppan Chef, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by cooking and preparing hot meals on hibachi tables directly in front of them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and entertain guests by providing a unique dining experience
  • Cook and prepare hot meals on hibachi tables
  • Ensure correct food portions are being cooked and maintain kitchen areas and hibachi tables clean and sanitized
  • Prepare and set up food for cooking and side orders

Requirements:

  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
