Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team on the 5N Inpatient Stroke Physical Rehab Unit. As a member of our team, you will work with a diverse group of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients with stroke rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct neurological assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide adaptive ADLs and transfer/mobility training to patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver rehabilitation-specific education to patients and families
  • Work with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, and Dieticians to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  • AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN
  • Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
