About the Role
Join Parkview Physicians Group, a world-class team of healthcare professionals, as we seek a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time opportunity with a typical patient volume of 18-22 patients per full day, with 4.5 patient clinic days and 4 hours of administrative time per week. Our fully integrated EMR system with EPIC supports both inpatient and outpatient care, and we offer a comprehensive spectrum of specialty support within Parkview Physicians Group. Multiple locations are available, all in Allen County, Fort Wayne, with data-driven provider & staff ratios to optimize office efficiency and enhance the joy of medical practice. Minimal call burden is a benefit, with dedicated access center triage nursing staff 24/7 and call sharing with 13 other internists. Outpatient calls are only 4 weeks per year, and the option to include hospitalist shifts as part of FTE or work extra shifts for additional compensation is available.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive starting salary in the top quartile compared to national and regional benchmarks for the first 2 years of practice. A commencement bonus and resident stipend are available, and transition to productivity-based compensation at year 3 with earning potential above $500,000* is a possibility. Additionally, 36 paid vacation days a year + 5 days of CME (Continuous Medical Education) per 1.0 full-time FTE, a $4000 stipend for continuous medical education (CME) per 1.0 full-time FTE, and additional lifestyle benefits of $1000 annually are included. Two paid days of volunteer work time off or for mental well-being and a student loan repayment/assistance program are also available. Other benefits include paid relocation, a retirement contribution plan: 403b with employer match and 457 plans, employer-paid short and long-term disability insurance, comprehensive medical, dental, vision & life insurance, and more.
