PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a contingent position, requiring specific skills and qualifications.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide medically necessary sensorimotor, educational, recreational, social, and treatment modality activities designed to help participants regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to their disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Work with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate rehabilitative services for PACE participants.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on participant needs.
  • Teach participants skills and techniques required for participation in treatment and program activities.
  • Document all care provided to participants and submit to medical records in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, statistics, and related forms.
Requirements
  • A professional level of knowledge in Occupational Therapy, obtained through a baccalaureate or higher degree program accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensure to practice in Michigan, including a valid License/Certification from The National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy and a valid Occupational Therapy registration certificate from the state of Michigan.
  • One year of experience working with a frail or elderly population.
  • Two years of experience as an occupational therapist.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
