POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of all swimming pools, pool decks, and decorative water features. Duties include scrubbing scum lines, vacuuming, washing down surfaces, and ensuring cleanliness of Jacuzzis and hot tubs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning pump strainers, sand filters, and changing cartridge filters. Accurately mix and manage chemical treatments, adhering to safety protocols and utilizing personal protective equipment.

Assist in the upkeep of all water features on the property and support repair efforts for both rotating and stationary equipment related to aquatic facilities. Conduct water quality tests and maintain logs of chemical readings as necessary. Serve as a backup for the pool mechanic when required.

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information. Provide exceptional service to guests, anticipating their needs and addressing any concerns promptly. Foster positive relationships with colleagues and respond appropriately to their feedback. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and navigating stairs or ladders. Must be able to distinguish colors and manipulate various tools and equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Experience: Background in mechanical operations; familiarity with handicap chair lifts; Certified Pool Operator training is a plus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License, CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and any other certifications mandated by local or state regulations.
