We are offering early-career Software Development opportunities tailored for individuals with less than a year of relevant experience. This program is designed to foster community among peers, provide mentorship, and include a structured onboarding project. Multiple positions are available across various teams, focusing on in-game content, community engagement, social interactions, and server development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Junior Server Developer, you will:

  • Develop the server and data infrastructure that supports:
    • In-game economic systems
    • Creation, sharing, and consumption of user-generated content
    • Social gaming features that enhance player connections
    • Comprehensive user and content moderation systems along with security protocols
  • Contribute creatively to the game design workflow
  • Collaborate on a variety of features and systems with cross-functional teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent training
  • Experience or coursework in distributed systems, cloud computing, and relational databases (e.g., SQL)
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or similar object-oriented programming languages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous development settings
  • A continuous desire to learn, grow, and assist others in their development
  • A passion for fostering community through user-generated content

PREFERENCES:

Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas will be advantageous:

  • In-game economic models
  • User-generated content platforms (in gaming or other sectors)
