Position Overview

The Academic Assessment Coordinator is essential in evaluating student achievement and ensuring our educational initiatives uphold the highest standards. This role requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to collect and interpret data, offer constructive feedback, and aid in the ongoing enhancement of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and oversee evaluation tools and methodologies to assess student performance across diverse programs.
  • Examine assessment data to uncover patterns, identify areas for enhancement, and highlight successes in student learning.
  • Partner with faculty to create and refine evaluation strategies that align with course objectives and institutional aims.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports and insights to faculty, academic departments, and administration regarding student outcomes.
  • Assist in formulating personalized learning plans based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with academic advisors and support services to guarantee students receive suitable interventions and resources.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for faculty on effective practices in student evaluation and assessment.
  • Remain informed on trends and best practices in educational evaluation and integrate them into the institution's assessment processes.
  • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and institutional policies concerning student evaluation.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in student evaluation, educational assessment, or a comparable role within an educational institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of evaluation methods, tools, and best practices in education.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including familiarity with relevant software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Dedication to promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Compensation:

$19.00 to $25.00 per hour
