About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Montessori Preschool Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Guide, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in our preschool-age children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Support: Observe each child closely to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Environment Preparation: Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters concentration, independence, and deep learning.
  • Independence and Self-Confidence: Cultivate independence and self-confidence by helping children 'do it all by themselves'.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development in practical skills, literacy, math, and so much more.
  • Community Building: Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of respect.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to provide the best possible support for every child.
About Our Montessori Environment

Our Montessori classrooms are designed to enable every child to learn, concentrate, and confidently achieve their independence. Each classroom features:
