Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment. You'll work closely with our production and quality teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery
  • Identify and report maintenance issues to the maintenance team
  • Work with the production team to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure minimal downtime
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on physical structures and equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational diploma or technical degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of team personnel
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and other equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment

The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and exposure to chemicals and fumes. You'll be required to stand, walk, and use your hands to handle equipment and tools. You'll also be required to lift and move heavy objects, up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds using the buddy system or lifting devices.
