Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students with disabilities to develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) that align with students' goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and coordinated approach to their education.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including hands-on activities and exercises to help them develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and other essential skills.
  • Document and track student progress, making adjustments to IEPs as needed to ensure that students are meeting their goals.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
