About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Problems: Use your diagnostic skills to identify and repair issues with vehicles, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioner, and coolant systems.
  • Inspect and Repair Vehicles: Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and perform repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and running efficiently.
  • Continuously Learn and Improve: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques through formal training sessions and ongoing education.
  • Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with other technicians and staff to deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Use protective equipment when operating machinery and manual tools, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension and A5 Certification in Brakes, and/or State inspection licenses and/or MAC certified.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, stand, bend, and squat for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
