Job Title: Registered Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Radiology Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures in diagnostic imaging, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography. They will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media and other substances as required for procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
