Position Overview:

As an HVAC Controls Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency, safety, and comfort of buildings through advanced control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and commission HVAC control systems, including temperature sensors, thermostats, dampers, actuators, and variable frequency drives.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions using your expertise in control systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate control systems with HVAC equipment for improved efficiency.
  • Conduct system testing and balancing to confirm accuracy and functionality.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to clients and team members regarding control system operations and maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed records of service visits, inspections, and repairs.


Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an HVAC Controls Technician or in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to read and interpret control system diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
