Job Title: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Neuro

Community Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Neuro team at Community Hospital East. As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a professional neuro care team providing individualized, patient-focused care for patients with acute stroke, brain or spine surgeries, or neurological instability.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work night shift on our Inpatient Neuro unit. The ideal candidate will have at least two full years of recent Med/Surg experience, current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, and a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the neuro care team, including Neurologists and nursing support staff, to provide individualized care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
  • Utilize advanced technology to treat patients with critical neurological conditions in a welcoming environment that promotes family visitation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in neuro care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing.
  • At least two full years of recent Med/Surg experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Valid license to practice in the state of Indiana.
