Operations Leader

BrightFarms Inc, a pioneering indoor farming company, seeks an experienced Operations Leader to drive success at our Lorena, TEX Greenhouse facility.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agriculture and/or food manufacturing, with 1-3 years of experience in continuous improvement processes and/or manufacturing production systems.

• Maintain optimal facility operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity while adhering to food safety standards.
• Develop and implement procedures for growing, packaging, warehousing, maintenance, and quality control.
• Lead employee training programs across multiple shifts, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Analyze performance metrics and standardize best practices to enhance overall facility performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, agriculture, or related field.
• Proven track record in leadership roles, with expertise in critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship building.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PowerBI (desired).
• Ability to navigate a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
