Job Title: Turret Driver

Job Summary:

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the operation of turret forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate turret forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload materials onto and off of pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
  • Perform all duties of Material Handler I as required.
  • Primary Responsibilities (60% or more time in one or more of the following):
  • Operate motorized equipment, including forklifts, clamps, and other equipment.
  • Utilize RF equipment to track product.
  • Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials, or equipment.
  • Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials based on customer specifications.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of forklift experience required.
  • Forklift Certificate Required.
  • Proven experience operating turret forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Sufficient formal education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information.
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
  • Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
