Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in Dataguard and Goldengate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle RDBMS, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) versions 11, 12, and 19.

Responsibilities will include managing Oracle RDS databases on AWS, creating new databases, and enhancing existing ones, as well as providing database performance analysis and diagnosis.

The successful candidate will also have experience with Oracle data movement tools, such as SQL Loader and DataPump, and be proficient in using RMAN for database backup and restore operations.

Additionally, the candidate should have working expertise with KORN shell scripts for automation and be able to assist developers with SQL query performance tuning.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building and supporting Oracle RDBMS
  • Strong expertise in Dataguard and Goldengate
  • Experience with Oracle RDS databases on AWS
  • Proficient in using RMAN for database backup and restore operations
  • Working expertise with KORN shell scripts for automation
  • Ability to assist developers with SQL query performance tuning
