Candidate Profile
We are in search of an individual with 3-5 years of experience in litigation or collections, who can effectively manage workloads to meet deadlines, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and produce high-quality work in a dynamic, high-volume setting. The ideal candidate will work autonomously and possess strong interpersonal and analytical abilities. They should focus on mastering fundamental legal principles and understand their application within the process. The candidate must be capable of handling routine, uncontested hearings and/or reviewing and executing motions. A comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and their applications is essential, as well as clarity on specific tasks and their implications for subsequent departmental activities.
Bar membership in Georgia is mandatory.
Compensation will be aligned with experience and includes a robust benefits package. Additional compensation and special consideration will be extended to candidates licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and/or Pennsylvania. Hybrid work arrangements are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the firm's Georgia operations
- Conduct hearings within the state of Georgia
- Guide and mentor junior attorneys
- Track progress and devise strategies for efficient file resolution
- Conduct thorough reviews of all prerequisites before initiating actions, including document, financial, notice, and demand letter assessments
- Draft and evaluate pleadings and correspondence to commence actions
- Ensure all internal systems are updated with findings, documentation, and recommendations
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections
- Manage contested matters, including discovery and trial proceedings.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer and general office skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to convey information effectively through verbal and written correspondence
- Proven capability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present actionable recommendations
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Educational Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree
- Active Bar membership in Georgia

Physical Requirements
