Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide safe care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate the care of assigned personnel, ensuring that all patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Perform charge duties as assigned, including managing patient flow, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the physician and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Florida Nursing License
- American Heart Association approved BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS, CPI, and PALS certifications as required by the department
- Age-specific aspects: adult, geriatric, infant, and pediatric care for emergency services staff
