Our client is a renowned luxury beauty goods company with a global presence. They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join their dynamic distribution center team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$17/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Picker/Packer to join our client's distribution center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing luxury beauty products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick products from shelves based on order specifications, ensuring correct quantities and items are selected. Utilize barcode scanners and other technology to track and manage inventory.
  • Packing: Carefully pack products to prevent damage during shipping, using appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety. Label packages correctly for shipping.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment and inventory organization, conducting periodic inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before packing, ensuring all items meet company quality standards.
  • Shipping Preparation: Prepare packages for shipment, including weighing and labeling, coordinating with shipping carriers for timely pick-up and delivery.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, following all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred, with familiarity with luxury beauty products being a plus.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, good organizational and time management skills, basic computer skills, and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to [insert weight], ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, comfortable working in various warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).

Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma is required.
