Job Summary

The Wenatchee School District is seeking a highly skilled District Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Special Education Department, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide professional development, training, and support to staff in implementing positive behavior intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Special Education Director, Intervention Team, Principals, and staff to design and implement professional development programs
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior principles and positive behavior intervention strategies
  • Work with building teams to ensure fidelity of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Develop and implement programs and transition procedures to ensure students access their education in the least restrictive environment
  • Support and monitor staff on behavior principles as assigned
Requirements
  • Masters in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or related degree
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate within one year of hire date
  • Experience analyzing, defining, measuring, assessing, and modifying behavior in children ages 3-21
  • Ability to lead teams through FBA's and BIPs or therapy programs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze and report data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Washington State ESA or Teacher's Certificate
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst degree
  • Experience designing, implementing, modifying, and maintaining behavior programs
  • Experience in a K-12 learning environment
