Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and direction to our primary care services, including supervising physicians, mid-level practitioners, and other healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of primary care services with other healthcare services.
- Develop and manage budgets, staff, and resources to ensure effective delivery of primary care services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and VA policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to staff on best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in primary care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality metrics and benchmarks.
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
