Job OverviewFairwinds Treatment Center, a leading provider of customized care for individuals with substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, eating disorders, and mental health diagnoses, is seeking an experienced Registered Dietician to join its interdisciplinary team. As a Registered Dietician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients, providing personalized nutrition counseling, and developing individualized meal plans.Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop care plans for patients
- Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans, including dietary recommendations and fluid prescriptions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a treatment center or hospital
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of nutrition therapy and counseling principles
