ObjectiveHealth is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Achieve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) levels at or below targets set by our Board.
- Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management, as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts receivable activities.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
