Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective upkeep, repair, and support of the refill station infrastructure, equipment, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks including general cleaning, plumbing repairs, painting, basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of refrigeration systems.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can operate independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate safe practices.
  • Uphold the company's Code of Conduct.
  • Paint and maintain refill stations, including walls, pedestals, doors, protective posts, and roofs.
  • Pressure wash refill stations as needed.
  • Manage landscaping at refill station locations.
  • Repair and maintain parking lots and refill stations.
  • Replace signage, decals, and banners as required.
  • Conduct basic maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of refill stations according to company standards.
  • Assist with construction and development projects as necessary.
  • Repair water-only and water-ice units as needed.
  • Maintain and care for company vehicles, inventory, and equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles to various locations within the assigned area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to adhere to the required work schedule.
  • Proficient in painting and maintenance of hand tools.
  • Reliable attendance record.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of climbing ladders, bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely in confined spaces within water-only and water-ice units.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends or evenings as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred background in electrical, maintenance, repair, or related fields.

*This position is classified as safety-sensitive due to the essential requirement of operating a company vehicle on public roadways.
