Nurse Care Coordinator Opportunity in Houston

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who wants to make a positive impact on patient care and outcomes.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. As a CNC, you will:
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
You will also support a patient-first philosophy, engage in service recovery when necessary, and support efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Recommending and implementing courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assisting with staff scheduling and managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Supporting proper inventory control and assisting with managing supplies and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Nurse license.
- An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is committed to providing excellent care to patients and supporting the growth and well-being of our colleagues. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options, paid time off, and education assistance programs.
