Epic Implementation Consultant

Position Overview: This role requires providing technical knowledge, workflow training, and support to end users across various environments. You will engage in usability testing, Epic system implementations, and educational sessions, ensuring users are well-equipped to utilize the Epic systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Epic education and user support throughout the implementation and onboarding phases.
- Collaborate with customers and end users to assess their objectives and requirements.
- Participate in identifying and resolving issues related to system usage.
- Maintain proficiency in assigned Epic applications and departmental workflows.
- Support Epic implementations and related organizational initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Required: 3 years in education, healthcare, IT, customer service, or a related field; OR 1 year of Epic experience; OR a Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: 1 year of Epic software experience, EMR implementation experience, relevant project management experience, and clinical experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional business writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to devise solutions to complex problems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.
Physical Demands: This position may require exerting moderate physical effort, including lifting and moving objects.
