This is a Full-Time role requiring 40 hours per week at the Occupational Health clinic. The schedule consists of Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts. Occasional travel may be necessary to provide coverage at other locations.

This position involves accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned patients. As part of the clinical team, the Registered Nurse engages in decision-making and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee patient care delivered by support staff during assigned shifts, identifying changes in patients' physiological conditions.
- Communicate patient status effectively to multidisciplinary team members.
- Engage directly with patients and their families regarding nursing care.
- Provide clinical interventions tailored to meet patient needs.
- Document the nursing process thoroughly.
- Integrate information from various sources to implement appropriate action plans for safe, quality care.
- Ensure the safety and security of patients, their families, and staff.
- Exhibit clinical competence in all patient care activities.
- Deliver direct patient care as required.
- Supervise patient care provided by support personnel during specific shifts.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of assigned patients and their families, addressing biopsychosocial and learning needs.
- Contribute to the care plan in collaboration with the patient care coordinator as necessary.
- Implement appropriate actions to respond to the needs of patients and their families.
- Monitor and document patient responses to therapeutic interventions and progress toward outcomes.
- Utilize resources efficiently in patient care, including equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of care in all practice areas.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Exemplify a professional image in appearance and conduct.
- Advocate for patients, families, colleagues, and the nursing profession.

Required:
- Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse or eligibility in the State of Illinois.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification.
Preferred:
- One year of nursing experience.
