Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, WI. As a PICU nurse with Summit Medical Staffing Nursing, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to pediatric patients with critical illnesses or injuries
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed
- Communicate effectively with families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive compensation packages, including a guaranteed minimum salary of $$145,000 per year, plus additional pay for overtime and bonuses. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
