The Westgate Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the hotel to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to guest and employee calls in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing emergencies and providing assistance as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate incident and accident reports, as well as daily shift logs and shift pass-down logs.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain constant surveillance of the hotel grounds.
- Identify and report safety hazards throughout the hotel, taking prompt action to resolve them.
- Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and management to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Current guard card and valid California driver's license required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record and a clean criminal record.
