Recreational Therapist

Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven individual to join our team as a Recreational Therapist.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate professional to work with our clients and students, providing adapted programs and special events that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

• Apply recreation therapy principles and techniques to plan, organize, and implement adapted programs and special events for our clients and students.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered goals, outcomes, programming, and needs.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters socialization, skill-building, and enjoyment.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to individuals with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
