Role Overview

As an MRI Technologist at AdventHealth, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing magnetic resonance scans to obtain accurate images. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a smooth and efficient imaging process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance scans to obtain high-quality images, following ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI.
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing information and instruction to patients and/or families regarding the procedure and responding to their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, positioning them as needed, and observing patient and equipment during the procedure.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment/resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R) and/or (MR)(ARRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
