Job Summary
The adjunct instructor will teach sociology courses at our Covington, Dyersburg, and Paris locations. This is a part-time position with variable schedules.
Educational Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching assigned sociology courses at our various locations
- Preparing and delivering course materials
- Evaluating student learning and maintaining class records
- Submitting required reports on time
Working Conditions
This position requires minimal travel and standard office settings. Sedentary work with occasional desk tasks and minimal hazard exposure.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As an adjunct instructor, you will also receive benefits such as professional development opportunities and access to our course management system (eLearn).
