Job Overview

Compensation

Job Description

As an Adjunct Instructor of Geology, your primary duty will be effective teaching of college-level courses and/or labs in the qualified discipline. You will also be responsible for developing and revising instructional materials, presenting material in an organized manner, evaluating student learning, maintaining student records, and participating in Adjunct Professional Development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university. Prior teaching experience is preferred, and you should be able to use San Juan College's Learning Management System (Canvas) and technology-enhanced curriculum. You must also demonstrate skill and willingness to learn and use multiple technology platforms to communicate with students.
