About the Role

We are seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 8th floor Medical-Surgical Unit. As a member of our team, you will participate in a year-long residency program, customized to fit your needs and pace, where you will:

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult to geriatric patients with ranging medical-surgical diagnoses.
  • Be paired with a coach that guides you toward success.
  • Develop clinical judgment, cultivate excellent communication skills, and acquire complex nursing skills.
Responsibilities

As a New Grad RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in a residency core curriculum based on your individual learning needs.
  • Providing direct nursing care, alongside a coach, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Initiating and/or maintaining interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
  • Seeking supervision, consultation, assistance when unable to perform safely and complying with established hospital/department personnel policies.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Hold a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
