Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Daytime Cashier to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and thanking every customer with a smile and eye contact
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies
  • Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats and cheeses, and assembling sandwiches
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve store goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds regularly throughout shifts
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
